I stopped using plastic a while back and these are perfect to pack fruits in my kids' lunchbox, the glass is thick enough to be safe.

I am very happy with all the products I bought. All storages containers are made of glass and therefore you do not have to open the containers to see what is in it. Very good looking and they stack up very well.

This one cup storage container is ideal for small leftovers after a meal as well as any unused tomatoes. The stored items just last longer than they do in plastic bags.

I transitioned to glass based containers a few months ago; staying away from plastic as much as possible (and yes, the lids are still plastic, but the direct contact with the food is the glass part.) Anyway, these 1-cup versions are getting harder to find. There's an enhanced (e.g., more expensive) version available now. I suspect mostly prompted by a lot of feedback that the lids crack... which is sometime true. However, I've found the 1-cup lids seem a bit more stable than the 2-cup versions. I'd recommend grabbing these while they are still available. And if not, that's OK, cuz then there will be more for me!!! :-)

The container is strong and holds up well but the cover, while acceptable, is not completely air tight. I recommend their new lids.

I wanted these for small portions of leftovers, for little bits of extra ingredients, for taking yogurt to work.
They're adorable and perfect--except that for some reason, the lid is much more difficult to remove with the smaller diameter top.
Still, I love them. They make portion control easy and keep the fridge neater.

These containers are great for multi-use food storage. The one-cup size is perfect for baking (then refrigerating) custards, and for storing single-servings of just-made stew and chili from pot to freezer to thaw and re-head in the microwave. Lids fit well.

We decided to replace our old plastic stained storage containers with a glass container with a good sealing lid. The PYREX® 1-cup Storage Dish is the perfect size to put that small left over from dinner, cover with the blue (BPA free) plastic lid and place into the fridge or freezer. The thick glass small dish can be easily taken from the freezer (pop the lid) and placed in a microwave and heated until ready to eat – no need to defrost and put in another container. Both the lid and the 1-cup dish are dishwasher safe (lid on top rack), so cleanup is a breeze.

I CAN NOT live without these little bowls. I am planning on buying more. I am on two different diets and these bowls helps monitor my gluten and my celiacs. Perfect poportion. And you don't have that nasty taste from rubber bowls.

My sister used to have these custard cup sized pyrex bowls and had misplaced them. I found them on this site and bought them as part of her Christmas gift from me. She's very happy I found them and gave her 3...hopefully these won't disappear.

I love these containers! They're perfect for storing a small amount of something, which we do often since I'm constantly preparing food for my little one. I also appreciate - more than I thought I would - the fact that I can take off the lid and microwave the container's contents immediately rather than emptying the contents into another/separate dish for microwaving, like I used to with my plastic storage.
