I ordered two sets of these bowls and am very happy with them. The large bowl is perfect for a pot of soup. I can use these bowls to serve and to store. There is a rim around the edge that makes picking them up much more convenient than straight-sided bowls. Lids fit well.

I love the pyrex mixing bowls with lids. I have stacks of 3 of each size in my cupboard. They are so handy in cooking, serving and perfect to carry food out to an event as well.

Worst Lids possible!

When I purchased these, I was expecting the great quality product that mother and grandmother had. But I was wrong. Pyrex has changed the lids on these and they are no longer rubber and seal the dish. Now they are a very hard cheap plastic lid that I will probably pitch because there's no use if they don't keep the product in the bowl fresh. I hate these lids and I would not recommend buying these. I would return them if I could!

I love Pyrex because it can go from very hot to very cold. This set has tight fitting lids enabling keeping greens fresh or saving leftovers. I highly recommend.

These bowls nest so perfectly that they take up almost no space in the storage drawers. The lids fit tightly and are easy to get on and off, so these bowls are great for taking places. Also, good for large leftovers, like whole chickens. Very versatile!!

I love my 8 pc. mixing bowls set. For health reasons I am switching all my plastic bowls to pyrex bowls. I love that you can mix, bake and go to the frig with the same bowl.

I bought these to replace the plastic sets. They are heavier than the plastic; however, they can be used for storing foods in refrigerator and also for cooking in microwave and oven. They are so convenient.

These bowls are great to have to melt and mix and store things in. I like that they come with lids, however the lids are not super sealed so you couldn't but runny liquids in it if you needed a safe travel bowl because it would leak. Also, the biggest bowl is barely deeper than the other bowls in the set, it just is wider.

I've had a hard time finding a really big mixing bowl. This set is great in that it has the larger bowl for things like pasta salad that need some extra mixing room and it has covers for storing or taking along.

Before moving to FL I gave away much of my kitchen ware items, mostly to my daughters. So once I got settled, I realized I missed my mixing bowls. When I saw this opportunity to replace them with Pyrex I was elated. Plus the price was amazing.
