Great for empty nesters

My husband are empty nesters. We always seem to have leftovers. I have been using plasticware to freeze and microwave the leftovers. The containers get pitted and the cheap ones melt and lose their shape. This container is just the right size and it holds up well. It is easy to clean. I just soak it a few minutes in soapy water and it swishes right out. The only problem I find is they don't stack well when not in use causing them to take up a lot of space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the size and have used them for making chicken pot pies and individual meals...like baked mac and cheese, etc.
Also, got these to use them in the microwave at work. The container gets too hot and the lid stained...was able to get the red tomato stain out by allowing Comet to stay on it overnight. [Wish they still made Cascade Plastic Booster for that was the best in taking out red stains in plastic.]

These containers are just the BEST for leftovers. You can store just one item, or make each one a small complete "meal".
Then you just pop it into the microwave, cover and all, to reheat when you're ready!
Some may think the cover doesn't fit tight enough if you're using it strictly for storage, which is why I only gave it four stars. The cover is perfect though, because it allows it to vent while reheating.

Pack my lunch in this dish every day. Great size for portion control. Pop it in the microwave and it's easy to clean. What more can you ask for?
