This is my 3rd cutting mat and it meets all my needs. I leave it set up on a 6 foot fold-up table in a spare bedroom. and I can go in there and cut as needed. The mat is self healing which is wonderful. Also, because it is so long, I can lay my fabric along the length of the mat and make several cuts, without having to move and adjust the fabric. The length really saves a lot of time. I highly recommend this cutting mat.
