These are great little storage containers, which pop right into the microwave or oven without worry of fluorocarbons from plastic leaching into my food. The only thing I would recommend that Corning do is make the lids easier to use or sell an option to buy an easier to use lid, it is a little tricky to take the lids off because there is no tab or the plastic is a little stiff. I have arthritis in my fingers so this should be something that that could be refined. Been using Pyrex for years for pie and lasagna pans, now I need lids for those!

This is the perfect size for one meal with with plenty of stir room as well. This is my favorite size for when I make a casserole or batch of pasta,etc. and need something to put the leftovers in. The lids can be a little tight and tricky to get off, but love these otherwise.

I am very happy with these containers and have lots of them. I try to use glass storage containers, especially when I put away food which is still hot. These are particularly useful because they are a good serving size for one person. If you put liquid in them, which I often do, be careful as the lid is not leak proof.

Great for Premade Meals

I bought 10 of these containers as Premade meal containers. I am a college student that likes to eat really healthy but that often involves a lot of time. And as a pre-med that is something I can not afford. So I spend my Sundays making a weeks worth of food and just store them in these containers. Then when lunch and dinner roll around I do not even have to think about what to eat... or be tempted by nasty fast food. These are by far the cheapest prices I saw and I am super happy with the way my eating plan is working.
The containers themselves are really nice and the glass is thick. Many times I do not even put an ice box in my lunch box because the glass stays cold for so long. The lids are very secure and I often have to use two hands to pop the tops off. I would make this purchase over and over again. Hope this helped you decide.
