When I cook I rarely only make 2 servings. When I prepare meals for my husband & I from scratch, (which is the vast majority of the time) I prefer to cook at least double the recipe and then freeze the remaining for later. Square glass dishes are much better since they stack & store perfectly and clean up much better. Also once they are purchased, unless they break, they are reusable and don't fail in their integrity. To sum up they come in a variety of sizes, stack for storage, freezing and clean up perfectly and don't contribute to our throw away society.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've ordered several of these dishes over the past year and love their versatility and storage.
From my first order, one of the dishes arrived w/a chipped corner (the glass from this chip was still in the unopened, covered container). No problem. I called customer service and explained the issue. Within the week or by the next week, I was sent a brand new dish.
I primarily use them to bake cakes and vegan cobblers ;) Additionally, I store raw spinach and raw greens in them and put them in the refrigerator. The rectangular design fits well in my fridge and I am able to stack 3 of them vertically.
The only design flaw, is that over time and use, the inner rim of the glass chips. I don't nest them in the cupboard. I stack them vertically w/lids attached to prevent damage on the inside of the dishes. However, perhaps through wear or dish washing, things knock against it. So that's why I removed a star.
Overall though, from oven to tabletop to fridge to microwave, this dish is great. :)
