I simply love Corelle. I received a set for Christmas and purchased additional pieces. Corelle is sturdy enough to handle everyday use and yet weighs less than most dinnerware. I have carpal tunnel so I tend to loose grip on the heavier plates (broke my last set) but, Corelle is perfect with the light feel and added bonus of being harder to break. I wished I would have purchased a set when my children were younger, it would have saved a lot of time.

There isn't a bread plate. The dinner plate is too large, so we use the luncheon plate as a dinner plate instead. We wish that there was a bread plate, approx. 5 " diameter, for toast or for rolls with butter or small side salad, when serving guests.

I bought the set of square simple lines which included dinner and luncheon plates along with bowls at an outlet mall. So I added to the luncheon plates with this order. The dishes are well made and love the modern look.

correlle square simple lines

picked out this pattern to replace our old correlle. The dinner plates do not stand up in the dishwasher; the lunch plates are more than adequate in size to use for dinner. It would be nice to have a smaller plate that coordinates with the set.
