After a kitchen remodeled we wanted to update our Corelle ware. About a year after the remodel we saw a Corelle ware store display, the pattern was "Garden Sketch Bands" but they only had the 16 piece sets. Searched online for the pieces we want, in that pattern, so our set would match. We found the 8.5" plates only and since we use the rimmed soup / salad bowl quite often we didn't want to be without, so we got the closest match, just white. Still looking for the small fruit bowls and coffee cups (not the stoneware from the 16 piece set) in that pattern.

This bowl is great. It matches the Dazzling White dishes perfectly since they were out of stock of those bowls. It obviously also matches the Winter Frost items too. In fact, it seems like all the Dazzling White and Winter Frost pieces are the same color so they work fine together.
I use these bowls for salads and they stack in my dishwasher in the plate rack easier than regular bowls.

I thought these salad plates may be too small but found them to be perfect size. Most of my meals contain lots of cut up veggies with beans and/or cut up meat and these plates are perfect for many meals including stir-fry, Mexican and salads.

I just added four more to make 12 for my rental property in FL. They're light-weight, space saving, classically stylish and as tough as vitreous china for durability. I use them in my home for soup, salad and pasta dishes.

Corelle is tops for wear-ability with style. I have used the Winter Frost White for a very large family, exclusively, for 40 years. The plain bright white lends it self as easily to an everyday simple sandwich meal as to a wine glasses and lobster feast. It is wonderful to be able to depend on World Kitchen for all my replacement needs, plus they are great to do business with! They seem to consistently try to find ways to benefit their customers, and save us money.

I love these dishes. Simple. Versatile. And very durable. I started with the dinner plates, bread plates, and "cereal bowls". Just wanted to finish off set and needed these pasta/soup bowls. They are just fine and arrived in very good condition and even sooner than I had expected.

I had a set of Corelle that I purchased about 25 years ago that came with 4 bowls this same size/shape. These shallow bowls have always been our favorites for salad, pasta, and reheating leftovers. I have been looking for them in the stores for a couple of years with no luck. I was delighted when I finally found them here and ordered a dozen of them. They are exactly what I wanted. You just can't go wrong with Corelle and the crisp white goes with anything. Love them!

I ordered these bowls having owned the dinnerware set for several years. The Corelle dishes are crisp and continue to look like new even after all these years.
I thought these bowls would have been a little deeper which I would have preferred, but they will suffice.

These make perfect salad bowls. The rim around the edge catches bits that would fall off if you used a regular cereal bowl. I can probably fit about twice as much salad for that reason.
The one star off is because they have these in Provincial Blue with a little pattern on the rim. I thought I'd prefer the white because I love the white plates, but because the rim is always pretty much fully visible, a little pattern would actually be nice.

I ordered the 15 oz Rimmed Soup / Salad Bowl in order to have a more formal look in serving both soups and salads for our church dinners. We use the Winter Frost White because it goes with any dinner decor. We use Corelle because it is highly durable and we are able to store all of our Corelle dinnerware in a small compact space.
