Wow, this is wonderful news. My mother always used these to cook, fry, bake in. I got them when she passed away 20 years. The set must be at least 50 years or more old. I even have the holder trays to set them on the table and the black handles to put on the ends to make it easier to hold onto when removing from the oven or on the stove. I'm a very lucky lady to have these. Now you just need to bring back the glass Pyrex coffee pots. i would be overjoyed!

I first purchased a larger version of this casserole set when I was much, much younger! I gave it away ten years ago when I was downsizing my kitchen and I've regretted that decision ever since. I was delighted to see it for sale on this site so I snapped it up!!! I am as impressed now as I was in my "youth" with the beauty of this casserole and how nicely it displays on a kitchen or dining room table--or even a hutch! As for its design, I love that there are glass lids and also handles to easily slide the casseroles out of the oven and onto the kitchen counter or tables. The food bakes beautifully within the casseroles. So in all ways I am satisfied with the Pyroceram Blue Cornflower Casserole Set and strongly recommend others purchase it. I hope this wonderful site carries more pieces and I'll definitely buy them!!!

Thank you for bringing back this terrific product. Like others I have searched thrift shops and antique stores to find old pieces. I've had all kinds of expensive cookware but always like Corningware best. The easy- to- clean element is wonderful and I love the fact that it can be used in all kinds of media and stored in freezer also. Great!!!

I have my corningware now for over 50 years, and about 10 years ago I broke my 3 quart dish(wheat pattern). I was devastated when I tried to replace the pattern and noticed I could not find it anywhere--I stopped looking until a month ago. There on your web site was the blue wheat pattern, I had to purchase the whole set. I wanted to give my daughter some pieces, its the best cooking dishes I have ever used. Thank you again for bringing the pattern back.

My Blue Cornflower Set includes various sizes because my mom gave me all her Cornflower dishes after she passed her 90th birthday. I grew up with her dishes and now they're mine to add to my own original set. These dishes are amazing -- they can go from freezer to stovetop to oven to table (of course you really should defrost them a bit first before putting in oven/on stove although in the olden days they claimed you could put frozen items directly onto the heat - but I never did). I have used nothing but Corningware for baking, stovetop, and microwave cooking because the cleanup is so wonderful - enchiladas, roast chicken/turkey, cornbread, chile rellenos, scalloped potatoes, etc. Burned food comes off great with just a few minutes of hot water soaking. Wonderful product! P.S.-If you bake in these dishes, lower the oven temperature 5-10 degrees F because glass-type bakeware cooks hotter than metal for some reason. Cornbread bakes beautifully at 390 degrees in my GE oven rather than the 400 degrees in recipe.

I am amazed at the way this set cooks food on the stove. I was fascinated by the idea of glass cookware and love that I can cook on the stove using glass.
Cleanup is easy. The dishes are highly attractive, and w/the plastic lid, stores well into the refrigerator. I just bought these items, so I haven't tested all the ways that they are wonderful, but I plan to use it in the oven quite soon.

I've been using the stovetop casserole casseroles for probably 40 years. I love it. I was very disappointed when I found out they no longer made it and couldn't find anyone else who had anything close to it. I was scouring thrift stores looking for it. Almost every piece I found was still in like-new condition. I heard they started making it again, but I haven't seen any in the stores in my area.

I was so excited to see that you have continued with your stovetop casseroles. I come from South Africa in Cape Town and have been looking for these items for a long time. We shop at flea markets hoping to find it. Lets hope you will sell in South Africa again and especially the cornflower range. We have the old range of stovetops

love my 'old' design dishes, I had gotten a set for a wedding gift in 1966 and loved them. I needed to add to the set because some of the pieces had bad scratches after all those years. These were larger sizes than what was available in 1966. Love them!

I can't remember when I bought my casseroles. I think it was in England 30+ yrs ago. I broke a lid some years ago and was delighted to find out today I could replace it. My son was marrried a couple of years ago and I told him to make sure a set was on his wedding list.
