We have used these knives for years. We are not the type to wash anything by hand, so throw them in the dishwasher. They are solid and cut well. Everything went smoothly from ordering to receiving in a timely manner.

I would have given five stars if they were a little longer and had a little more "heft" to them. I was replacing a set that were "perfect" EXCEPT they would not stay sharp. Sure hope these stay fairly sharp, and I'll be happy. I had to keep a few of the old ones for my wife because they are longer,so now we have "HIS" and "HER" steak knives.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our last set of these pulled primary duty as everyday paring, slicing, dicing, chopping knives primarily used by my wife. When we got down to one knife left through attrition/mysterious disappearance, I found them on line and the special pricing made for an easy decision to replace them. They hold a good edge with seemingly less need to steel them between uses. Slightly bigger size than a paring knife is a plus.

I have used this knife type for the last 16 years as a filet knife for large red drum (red fish). 'They are excellent steak knives but even better filet knives for this type of fish plus fish such as the sheeps head.
