I already had this pattern in red; added the blue ones to complement the set for July 4 holiday. The pattern is definitely reminiscent of those plates used in diners in the 50's. The pattern even 'matches' my antique grease jar and S&P range set. Love them!

THIS IS MY THIRD SET OF CORELLE DISHES AND I LOVE THEM. THEY KEEP THEIR LOOKS AND HOLD UP WELL. I LOVE THAT I COULD ADD THE FEW EXTRA PIECES THAT I NEEDED WITHOUT HAVING TO BUY A WHOLE SET WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO MANY DISHES.

I love the Classic Cafe design on these dishes. It's like going back in time. I would love to see them in with a very retro jadite green color like the seamist color in Fiesta!!!

We have a monthly potluck and we needed sturdy, attractive dishes that would not be too fragile. These fit the bill precisely. They are thin so the 50 plates do not take up too much space and are not too heavy to carry. They have a simple, classic look that everyone likes and are American made which is important to us.

When I first saw Classic Cafe, I knew it would be the perfect dinnerware for my "retro" kitchen. The design is beautiful and the colors are vibrant. This is a pattern that will always be in style. I own older Corelle...and much to my delight, the newer Corelle products are still as high quality as ever.
Now if only Corelle would offer this pattern in the 20 ounce pasta bowls ? Or white pasta bowls with matching blue trim on the edges ?

Large, no wasted space on the edges so it holds a lot of food, stacks compactly, microwave safe, tough to damage or break in practical use. The perfect plate.

I was very nervous that the dishes would not arrive in time for the event we were planning and contacted customer service just to be sure. They were very nice, even if I were being a bit of a pest. The dishes arrived in less than 2 weeks from the order date, in perfect condition.
They are the usual high quality, I have come to expect from Corelle. I always prefer American made products and these did not disappoint. They look better than the picture. They stack nicely for storage. We are using them tonight to serve a party of 30.
