Great replacement lids for my lunch container

The new lids for my Corning ware dishes work very well. I am happy to be able to reuse my favorite lunch containers again. The ordering process was easy and the delivery time was prompt. I only wish that they could have been mailed to me in an envelope instead of a big box.

We have purchased these 23 oz oval lids to mix and match with our stock of oval dishes. They fit our 'old' ovals fine. They are snug and sized correctly. They do not fit our 'new' (Nov 2011) ovals because the dishes are manufactured poorly. The new dishes have a thicker lip/edge and the outside circumference is smaller than the 'old' dishes. That makes the lids fit loosely. Good lid size, poor dish manufacturing.

I bought this because I didn't have the lids for my dishes. I pack my husband's lunch and breakfast everyday, as well as my own and I like using containers that aren't plastic. These work well as they go from freezer, refrigerator, microwave. Very good product.
