I bought this 2 qt casserole dish because it is a convenient size for a special lasagna recipe I have made for years for our family and for guests.
I could not find this particular style dish in any store in my area. I was happy to find it online.

I use the Pyrex 2-quart casserole all the time. I use it for making casseroles, dipping meat into liquids, serving vegetables, microwaving vegetables, and for my most recent discovery--microwaving peanut, pecan, and almond brittles. It works perfectly! I had to replace one I'd had for about 30 years (it was accidentally broken). I expect these two to last a very long time!
I also love the Pyrex loaf pans I use for bread, meatloaf, and fruit breads. They bake so evenly and you can see what color the crust is. They are my favorite baking pans!
