I'm trying to replace most of the plastics in our home, and this is exactly what I was needing. It does everything it should. My only issue is that, when I pull the lid off, I do so at an angle, and when the seal gives, the glass lid clunks against the glass lip. I'm afraid I'm going to chip it one day. But I'll simply have to be more careful! Otherwise, this is a great price for a great, sturdy product that I'm pleased to be using.

this pitcher was specifically purchased to use for sun tea
i was nervous to use plastics for fear of plastic components leeching into sun tea. one minor issue the xl tea bags require a bit of caution sliding through a slightly narrower neck so the bag does not tear. heavy glass item will not break as some glass pitchers have done

After several years of use I accidently cracked mine while washing it (it hit the sink). It is the perfect size for the large frozen lemonade or juice containers. The neck is wide enough to use a wooden spoon to stir, which also makes it easy to clean inside. It's easy to hold. I especially like the good fit on the lid and that I can take it apart to wash it. It looks beautiful on the table as well. Got a lot of compliments on it. It even fits in my crowded refrigerater. Looking forward to ordering one or two again.

I have had this chiller for a couple years and when my friend was visiting she said she wanted to get one. I tried to find it in local stores, but couldn't so I turned to the trusty internet and bought it for her. I love this chiller. It is very sturdy and the ribbed design makes it easy to handle. The glass lid is a winner, didn't want a plastic lid. You won't be disappointed with this one. My friend is thrilled with her surprise gift.
