The lid I received with my order is defective . One corner is "off" and there are crack-like marks.
I called customer service to ask for a replacement, which I hope to receive soon. I can't use the casserole without it.

Price, delivery and service was fine. Quality of the product left a bit to be desired. The lid does not fit flat on the casserole dish as the old one did. It's serviceable but not the quality we had expected.

A little lighter weight cover than the 25+ yr old original that I broke. Glad to have a replacement that fits.

I wasn't sure which top to order so I called Customer Service. My Blue Cornflower Corningwear Dish is old so the size is odd. I did order the top it sits slightly on the rim of the dish, but it will work. Foil is expensive!

My Corningware set was purchased many years ago and I recently broke the lid to the casserole and frying pan. I was delighted to find that I could order a replacement at such a reasonable price. I broke the lid to the largest of a set of 3 square Corningware casseroles that we got as a wedding shower gift 35 years ago. They certainly don't look that old...they look brand new even though I use them almost daily. Anyway, I had a difficult time finding a replacement. Even stopped at at Corningware outlet and they gave us this website. It's not EXACTLY like the old lid, but it fits and does the job. It's a little higher than the original I believe, but I am just so happy it works!

Your 5 liter CorningWare Stovetop Pyroceram casserole (or Dutch oven to the purists out there) feels naked and exposed. It's crying for its own Pyrex lid. And, you know, the time to think about getting the lid is when you buy the dish, especially during a sale.
Inverted, the lid is the perfect way to stack, store and show off your CorningWare while minimizing blemishes that could be caused by nesting. That tower of Pyroceram is a mighty impressive sight in any kitchen and tells the world, yes, YES!, a REAL CorningWare lover lives (and cooks) here.
