Hard to find and nice for storing after big family meals when no one wants to do dishes and will want to re-heat later! They help with stacking in the fridge too!

last year i replaced most of my casserole storage lids because they had cracked or split and did little to nothing in the storing department. unfortunately, at the time, the casseroles that needed replacing the most were unavailable. i kept checking back from time to time and finally, they had them! i am very happy with the purchase! now all my casseroles can be used as storage once again.

I was considering purchasing some glass containers for food storage when I realized I could use the Corningware I already had if I could just purchase the air-tight lids which I found on line. The plastic lids are also great to prevent any spillage if you need to transport your food somewhere outside the home.

While your 5 liter CorningWare StoveTop Pyroceram cookware can go from the freezer to the oven to the table, the time spent in the cold can be hazardous, especially with the Pyrex lid. Bump the dish hard enough and the corner of the lid drops in and comes out dripping with marinara sauce. That's why you need to grab this lid along with the Pyrex lid when you're buying the 5 liter casserole (OK, OK, you purists, I know it was originally called a Dutch oven). Ditto for all the other sizes. You'll be able fill it up without worrying about sloshing and spilling. Of course, you already know to swap back to the Pyrex lid if you're heating dinner in the oven or on the stove.
