It is not realistic to cover my quart and 1 1/2 quart glass Pyrex mixing bowls with Glad wrap. The plastic cover I purchased is perfect!

I bought this and several other lids to cover the Pyrex glass mixing bowl set I have. Given that the description said "mixing bowl" lid and that the qt. size was the same as the bowl I have, I figured it would fit. But, unfortunately, this and the other lids I bought didn't fit the Pyrex glass mixing bowls I intended to use them with.
The quality doesn't seem bad, so if you have a product that you are SURE it fits, then I think you're fine. Otherwise, I'd urge caution. Next time, I'll call PYrex directly to see what lids they would/wouldn't recommend for my bowls.

I bought 3 of the red 1 1/2 Pyrex bowl covers, for my Corelle 1qt serving bowls they fit better then the original covers, I have been using these for serving and storage for many years, and found that the original covers do not last, the break and the white get discolored, I happened to discover that my orange mixing bowl cover could work for the serving bowl and holds up in the dishwasher too, was not sure if it is the same cover since it did not say mixing bowl, it just said red oval, it works like a charm.
I did not use these covers long enough to determine if they will break or last.
I would recommend this to a friend!
