I’ve had my Visions saucepan set for 15 years now. I use them for everything—they’re equally suited to stovetop burners and the microwave. Except for very minor discoloring on the bottom, they're as clear and clean as the day I bought them. I just had to replace a lid that fell on floor. I knew the moment it shattered that I would replace it—the set is just too useful and valuable to live without.

While this cover is a perfect fit for the VISIONS 1.5 liter saucepan, it also pairs perfectly with the Pyrex 5-cup storage bowl (see photo). That means you can reheat the contents in either the microwave oven or a preheated conventional oven with the confidence that comes from using a glass lid instead of plastic. Grab a few when they're on sale!

I'm happy enough with the lid I bought (at least it's the right size), but it's color was different than the original saucepan I was trying to match it to, which is disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
