This knife, out of my brand new set, and used once to cut mushrooms, is rusting. The edge has become severely pitted from one use, washing, and drying. If I can find my receipt, I will be taking the whole set back. I will be buying a different brand to replace, since apparently Chicago is using inferior non-stainless steel.
I thought I was buying a brand that would last me a very long time, instead I ended up with something worse than the cheap grocery store brands that break at the handles after a while of use. At least they don't rust though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would not have believed that this knife would be so sharp.

I had very expensive knives, I can lose them as easy as a less expensive one. I'm very pleased with my purchase I will buy more and give them as Christmas gifts.

Gladly I ordered this knife because of price and cut greatly for anything. It stays sharp too
