I wanted solid mugs to complement our retired collection of Pacific Bloom dinnerware, which contained only cups and saucers. While the Vive Berries & Leaves mugs are "stoneware" rather than "Corelleware", they are well-made, microwavable,dishwasher safe, and will also complement our Christmas Corelleware.

I have previous bought these stoneware mug in blue and when I ordered my new plates in watercolors, I have to add to my collection. I bought the same stoneware mug is this wonderful red color and the two combination work great in my color scheme. The mugs can be stacked on top on each other and when I drink my coffee, the cup is not heavy or too hot. I would definitely recommend this product.

I originally purchased this color stoneware mug as a festive, holiday compliment for my Evergreen Rose Corelle dinnerware. The red is deep and rich as opposed to the bright red and orange red of the other two available "red" colors. I have found that I use my red mugs not only at holiday time but with other of my everyday Corelle designs. Yes, I have many varied placesettings as I prefer to purchase open stock pieces rather than full dinnerware sets of a single design. Been there; done that! Boring, boring, boring...
