I've used Corelle for many years in the microwaveable freezer/oven pans. I finally got tired of all the chips that were on my everyday china from putting them in the dishwasher & decided to give the Corelle dinnerware and matching dessert/luncheon plates a try. I'm so glad I did. The tasteful design gives just the right amount of flair, the dishes are substantial in size and hold an abundance of dinner or lunch and everything comes out sparkling clean from the dishwasher and without any chips! If you're thinking of buying these, I'd buy just the dinner and luncheon plates. The cups are on the small size, but then we're used to huge mugs for our coffee & tea. The soup/cereal/salad bowl is also a little on the small size and doesn't have the "flair" design that is on the plates. (It has one thin line around the edge of the bowl.)

Love Corelle dishes. Light weight and beautiful. The red in this is not as red as the picture shows... but it is still lovely. The dinner plates are a very nice large size. Very nice set.

I recently purchased a set of the fine lines pattern and found there were not enough of plates when we had extra guest. This purchase was for 4 additional plates to go with my set. Order arrived in in good shape with no breakage in a timely manner. Can't wait until they offer this pattern in the accessories!!!

I was looking for plates to complement solid red bowls and breakfast plates. The red plates I already had were too wide to fit in my cabinet; a real pain! These arrived intact quickly, and look great with my other pieces. They did well in the dishwasher and fit in my upper cabinet!
