I truly wish that the company would continue to make more vision pans and pots. They are excellent because they make food more delicious. Yes, we have to be careful to not chip or crack them. For years, I make boiling eggs in a metal pot and they did not come in a perfect shape after I break the shells. With this vision, it was perfect all week. PLUS, I JUST FOUND THAT I AM ALLERGIC TO COBALT METAL! So, I do not know which pans and pots does not contain with Cobalt. Vision was the only choice that I could think of. Long time ago 18 years ago, I did owned cranberry vision casseroles and I moved away and I did not know what my roommate did to those. I am looking for more pans and pots. Hope that they are making more, aren't they?

So glad they are making visions again. When I moved several pieces were broken. Glad I was able to replace them.

Easy to use and easy to clean

I only cook with glass pots and pans for health reasons, so this skillet is an ideal addition to my kitchen. It's very easy to clean, but if something sticks, just use a little dab of Corningware Cleaner paste and it's clean as a whistle! I can't wait to buy another one!

I love this skillet so much that I purchased another one. Food cooks so evenly in it and it is very easy to clean. The handle stays cool and is shaped well for holding onto. I have also noticed that food oders and flavors don't transfer to other things that I cook.

Perfection!

With all of the health concerns with nonstick coatings, aluminum, chromium in stainless steel being toxic, nothing is as simple as glass. I have Visions pots in the small, medium, and large and love them, and this Visions skillet is no less wonderful. Heats evenly. Cleanup is a breeze. I'm used to not plunging my Visions pots in cold water when they are hot, so that part is no big deal. This Visions skillet is the same thick, heavy-duty Visions that I love (none of the thinner, shatter-risking soda glass).

I bought this product to cook safe, healthy meals for my husband and toddler. She loves scrambled eggs and my husband loves sauteed veggies, but I didn't feel comfortable using teflon (which I've read can leach dangerous chemicals) and had trouble finding other options. Glass seemed to be the safest, and I was so happy to find a glass skillet. I'll definitely be ordering the rest of the set!

One of the most overlooked uses for VISIONS cookware is in the oven. When you need to roast a few meatballs, bake a meatloaf for two, or broil some burgers, hot dogs or sausages, this is the pan to reach for. The waffled bottom allows just enough air circulation to prevent stewing the contents and, since it's one stain-resistant dishwasher-safe piece, it goes right into the dishwasher and comes out sparkling. If a little residue still remains, a light polishing with Bar Keepers Friend or even a spritz of full-strength oven cleaner will finish the job. Remember, VISIONS is the see-through amber cousin of CorningWare Pyroceram. It's as tough and heat-resistant as a smoothtop electric range. But, ironically, ON the range is where you might never use it.
