Our Pyrex one-liter sauce pan had been in daily use for years when it recently was broken. We encountered difficulty replacing it since most of the stores no longer stock this amber colored glass sauce pan. We felt lucky to find it on your web site, ordered it, and had it in use in our kitchen five days later. It came through in perfect condition, it was the exact thing we wanted (the lid to our old saucepan fits perfectly). I'm mostly commenting about your website and service since the Pyrex cookware has been classic for a long time. We have owned our set for at least 30 years and it is the first time we have broken anything.

Finally! Amber glass with handle

Finally found the amber glass saucepan with a handle that I haven't been able to replace for so long. Can't find these items in stores any longer. Thrilled to have found World Kitchen online. The products were shipped promptly and arrived quickly. The packing was excellent -- everything in perfect shape and super-well packed and protected. Thanks! I can't wait to shop again. The matching glass lids/covers fit great.

I remember these pots as a kid and I loved watching water boil in them. As an adult I was disappointed in thinking they weren't available anymore. I even bought a used stock pot. Image my surprise when I found out they are still being manufactured. I love these pots. If I have to heat up a small amount of broth I don't have to worry about boil over since I can see what is going on. For miso from scratch I can monitor the wakame floating and bonito sinking all while reading a book since I don't have to hover over the stove. They clean up very easy by hand or in the washer. I only use them for soups and such so I don't know if frying would clean up as smoothly, but overall I am very satisfied.

Great for making tea; useful and good design

I originally bought this pot to boil water for making tea. I have noticed that the flavor of my tea is absolutely pristine now. There is no more metallic taste in my boiled water. My old stainless steel 1-quart was my favorite but not anymore. I love the spout. Since I do not use a microwave, I also use this pot for cooking/heating small amounts of food for my toddler. It is a perfect size and heats food/water so quickly. This pot is also useful for making sauces, melting butter, etc. It is almost always in use in my house so it has never even been put in the cabinet.

Super Replacement

After decades of use, my favorite saucepan broke ... and I feared I wouldn't be able to find a replacement. But I did and it matched the larger saucepan I have perfectly. The purchasing, delivery and overall service was great! And I have my favorite Corningware saucepan again!

I originally bought Visions cookware in the 1970s (I think). I always loved being able to see how the contents were cooking, but had started to be concerned about the Teflon coating coming off. Now that I have my new Visions pans, I can once again see how the contents of a saucepan are cooking without removing the lid. Also, I have sauteed food in butter and the food does not stick.

Easy to clean, not eating steel or other materials found in saucepans, and everything cooks up fine.

Pretty decent cookware

I use it exclusively for traditional oat meal breakfast (rolled oats with milk or soymilk). Work out great. Cleaning is easier than the stainless cookware but harder than non-stick ones. My only complaint is that the dishwasher cannot clean it throughly as the oat/milk/soymilk resides on the side and bottom of the pan after a couple of cycles of washing. So I have to wash it by hand. Other than that it is a good buy.

I have used this same pan for years for making microwave peanut brittle and had not been able to purchase additional pans at the Locust Grove, GA Corelle store. I was happy to see the pan at the store at the St. Augustine outlet mall but was then told I could not purchase a pan in the store (they were only sold in a set with other pans). But the lady in the store--sorry I don't know her name--was very helpful and said she could order one for me that would be sent to my home in Georgia. When she pulled the item up on the website it was on a special sale for 2. so I ordered the 2 and they came very quickly, were packed really well and all in all I was very happy with the purchase.

Great way to get away from Iron

We bought these as a way to minimize iron in our diets. I only wish that they carried glass saucepans in the 0.5 and 0.75 liter size.

I bought Visionware long ago, the variety with the no-stick surface on the bottom...but those surfaces wore out. I was delighted to find a new issue in a Conringware store in Concord Mills, North Carolina, and, on my trips up there, I've bought one pan or another and brought them home
This pan, though was a replacement...I bought a pan just like it (and its accompanying lid) at the same store, but, unfortunately, it cracked on the trip back---unlike the others, it didn't come in its own box, and I didn't know how to pack it properly. You guys handled that much better when you shipped it to me.
I only used it once so far---it's just the right size to make a sauce for scalloped potatoes. The sauce came out fine, but when I left it sit, what was left in the bottom scorched. No matter...with a lot of scrubbing, every bit of scorch came off. I'll be using it again, next chance I get.

It's like having X-ray vision in the kitchen.
The more you use VISIONS cookware, the more ways you find to use it. This 1 liter saucepan is a perfect example. When I'm making waffles, I melt the shortening in it over the simmer burner on the stove and turn off the heat when half of the shortening has melted. The stored heat finishes the job without burning or scorching.
It's also the perfect size for cooking a single serving of oatmeal or Cream of Wheat, heating a can of soup, and for boiling one or two eggs. Top it off with the optional cover and it's ready to store the leftovers in the fridge or freezer, or keep the contents warm in the oven or on the stove. The transparency is like having X-ray vision. You don't have to guess or peek because you can SEE every step of the cooking process.
When it's not on the stove, under the broiler, in the oven or taking a bath in the dishwasher, its style and beauty add a touch of class to any kitchen.
