Updated versatile white plates

These plates are an updated version of the Winter Frost line. They have a wider rim and are slightly larger. They look expensive and are lightweight and strong. I can't believe it took me 3 years of looking before I considered Corelle. I think it's because these are so much more updated looking! I can fit 12 of these in the space my old clunky china plates had only 6. I also like that there is no scratchy bottom - they are completely smooth so they won't scratch my countertop.

I wanted simple white plates that could be dressed up for various holidays, were large enough to hold extra portions and cleaned easily. These fit the bill.

Love the corningware white plates. The color is a clean white and a great size. I have had the matching bowls for years. Perfect for cereal and ice cream.

I love my new set of dinnerware. I've always loved Corelle. They are light weight and very durable. I like the plain white because I could always accessorize it with more colorful serving pieces. I am also very pleased with the service from World Kitchen. The ordering process was easy and I did not have to wait long to receive my products.

I never imagined that glass-based plates and bowls were so much easier to use than stoneware products. They stack in smaler piles, are far lighter and in the case of the Dazzling White series have the classical slightly formal look that I was looking for. Great product! Highly recommend.
My only wish would be to have Correlle replace the stoneware cups (mugs) included in the boxed sets by glassware cups in both a mug format and a low format (2.5"H x 3.25"W cylinder w/handle)(the mugs for me are useless I like the more elegant and classic low cylindrical form factor)
