I bought these to compliment a previous purchase of the round no leak lid containers. I love the lid and fit. It is very secure. I do not microwave the lids even though they are designed for that purpose. I wash them by hand while removing the inner seal. Which is easy to do. I am doing away with my plastic containers. These sizes and shapes accommodate many different items. I'm very satisfied. I looked at many different manufacturers. This Pyrex just had a good feel.

...It's 3 piece with lids.
This may be a standard technique (I don't know, as I don't have much of a shopping habit), but if it is, anyone who wants repeat customers should buck the trend.
The few containers I received seem to work well enough, I suppose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love how it is microwavable and dishwasher safe without the fear or plastic poisons. And the lids are very tight. The only problem is that the glass is heavy.
