I grew up cooking with my mom's Revere copper-bottomed set from the 70s and it lasted forever, heated evenly, and never warped so when I moved out on my own I treated myself to a new set thinking that it would last me forever like my mom's set has (and even my grandmother's set from the 50s). I was very wrong. The metal is so much thinner and within the first couple of uses all of the pots and pans warped. I was cautious with them and I have been cooking with stainless steel my whole life. I was so disappointed. If you can get your hands on an old American-made set then go for it but don't bother with these. After a short amount of time you'll need a new set.

I have had many pieces of Revereware over the years as have my parents and grandparents. I have always thought of Revereware as high quality durable, long-lasting cookware but this purchase couldn't be farther from that! Upon removing this set from the box, I was surprised at how lightweight and thin the cookware seemed. But this wasn't the worst part. As soon as I put one of the frying pans on the stove and applied heat, the bottom warped. It was so bad that I couldn't even get the food prepared correctly. So I tried another in the set, hoping that one was just defective. It did the same thing!! Now I have two brand new frying pans that are unusable. I will be returning these and my opinion of revereware has now gone in the tank...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought these for my daughter and son inlay, I have had these pots for over 30 years,always have held up good.she always wanted some of these, she was thrilled when I gave them to her...already used them several times and loves them already!

I am using the pans my Mom used when I was a kid; the ones I burned food on when I was a kid.
I have added some more pans since my Mom did not let ALL of her pans go... completely understandable! I keep adding to my pan set and I will continue to do so.
I tell everyone about my 25 year old pans that still work GREAT!!!

My wife bought this set for me for Christmas before last and within a few weeks every piece that had copper on the bottom began peeling off. We used only the Revere cleaner when washing. This was a HUGE dissappointment for both of us because the old copper clad Revere Ware that we have had for several years has stood the test of time and has never done anything like this. We are very upset about how the new style Revere Ware has continued to peel as it is an extremely thin layer of copper. We would definately NOT recommend purchasing this set of cookware! You will only be dissappointed.

Years ago, when I set up housekeeping, my mother gave me a set of Revere Ware. She was proud to give me what she had used for many years, and, though I was green then about cookware, I could tell by the triumphant look in her eyes that something grand had been achieved.
I have come to revere my Revere Ware: dependable, sturdy, copper-bottomed, easy to clean, and now I have used it for many years.
I have added some pans to the original set, and am thankful she got me started years ago on these great pans and pots.

After seeing the product in the store, I purchased it online after I returned home. I had see the cookware before and have been wanting it for some time. I am so glad I finally broke down and bought it. This cookware is wonderful to cook with..speeding up my cooking time because of the copper bottom. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for some really good stainless copper bottom cookware.

This product is light weight but sturdy. The glass top with the steam release is great. I like being able to see my food without removing the lid. The steam release helps to reduce steam burns to fingers. Revereware products are products that I love. Revereware pots and pans are the only pots and pans that I use. I have an original set that I have had for over 30 years and still in great shape. I added this set to my collection and love them just as much as the original style.

At first I research for the brand, seems like it's been around for a while. But honestly, the product is made in China. When I first got my set, I was very happy, that was until I used them. The pots get hot really fast, at the point that even at the lowest heat temperature still burns my food, specially the rice!!!. I wish I could return it.
