It is what it says it is. I gave it 3 stars because the wood isn't as high quality as a cutting board I bought. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is but it reminds me of unfinished furniture. However, it has a large working area...I turned it over and decorated sugar cookies with it.

I would recommend this to a friend!
