I really bought these to give to my kids as snack containers, so I knew what I was getting into based on the previous reviews. Still, I was hoping I might be happier with them. Alas, no. They really are too small to be used for lunches, and the lids really DO NOT fit on them. My husband thought he'd managed it with a lot of wrestling and sweating, only to find he still had a section that was not sealed. And if you do manage to get the lids on, you'd have a hard time getting them off again without flinging the contents everywhere. There's no way a child could get into their lunch once it was closed up.
At least they serve the purpose I really had in mind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was very excited to finally find these dishes; I had purchased a couple of these several years ago at a grocery store and loved them until my husband took them to work and they never returned home. Apparently it was too much to expect that when I ordered these that they would come with the lids! I am not sure what the point of the dish is without the lids but now I have to order the lids and pay a separate shipping charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

looking for a split dish that would let me heat frozen dishes instead of using the plastic container they come in. Need the split to separate the items as they are in the container.

Good for packing lunch

I use this for packing my lunch everyday. It works out great because it is compact and I can take two curries without them mixing with each other. I pack my bread separately in a sandwich bag. Wonderful to heat in the microwave. The only thing I wish were different is that I wish it were half an inch taller. That would allow some room between the food and the lid.
I would recommend this to a friend!
