I needed a first set of dishes when moving out on my own, so I ordered what I hoped would be sturdy, simple, not-bad-to-look-at dishes. Turns out I'm glad I did, since I've already dropped a plate or two and I've left one to stew in my sink for a few days with spaghetti on it. In both cases, the plates came out fine and stain/chip-free. If this kind of durability keeps up, I won't be buying daily-use plates anywhere else.

They don't break, they don't chip, they take up less space in the cabinet and dishwasher, easy to clean and light weight. And they look great. What more could you ask for?

Arrived as advertised though one plate was broken. Called number given for such incidents and the gentleman immediately took care of the problem. We received the replacement a week or so later. Excellent customer service on top of a quality product.

Love our Corelle

For years we have used stoneware. It's heavy, and breaks easily. We started looking for an alternative but most of the stuff out there is either stoneware or patterns we didn't like. We found this design pattern online and ordered it.
We've been using it for several weeks now and love it! It is light, much thinner than the stoneware, so it takes up less cupboard space. Highly recommeded!

It took me awhile to return to Corelle. Had it over the years and last time I bought dishes I got stoneware. It was expensive, heavy and didn't last as long as I would have liked. Scratches were apparent as some chips and I am very careful. This new set is just what I wanted.

We purchased this product several years ago because we liked it for everyday use. Just recently my wife accidentally dropped a plate and broke it to pieces. So we decided to purchase a new set to supplement our previous set. Excellent for everyday use.

Perfect for a family with small children

I have three small children, so I was looking for dishes that my children could easily and safely carry and clean. For my needs right now, these dishes are perfect. I like that the are lightweight and dont' take up much space. Their thinness helps them get cleaner in the dishwasher than my old dishes, as there is more water circulating between the plates. I like the color and the pattern. I only wish I could buy more dinner plates without having to buy more of everything else.

This set of dinnerware was to replace the odds and ends dishes I was using for every day use. My cupboard was almost full with the old dishes. This new set is so stackable it gives me more room. I have used them in the micoware and very please with their performance. I just simply love my new set of dinnerware and would highly recommend to anyone !

We bought this for our 5th wheel because we wanted something durable. It travels well with us. I don't have to worry about some of the bouncy roads we travel. I would recommend this to others with campers, trailers, or 5th wheels.

I really love the look of this pattern. It is perfect in my retro kitchen although it definitely has the personality to compliment a more modern setting as well. While other brands of dinnerware may boast similar classic "diner" themed products, nothing compares to the durability and value Corelle offers.
I would give this set a 5 star rating but in all fairness the bowls are just too small - useful for children, dessert, fruit, dips, sauces, etc. or those who prefer smaller portions.
I am used to the older Corelle sets with bowls that actually have some room in them :(

My old Corelle set had served us well for over 10 years, so after much consideration, I chose the simple design of Classic Cafe blue to replace our old set (which will now go to college with my daughter for a second life). The new set fits our needs perfectly for everyday eating. The pattern is classic, simple enough for our country house, but would work as well for someone who loves contemporary design . I like that they now provide mugs rather than cups with the set- and they are a nice color; however, since we like a bigger mug for hot chocolate or coffee, I probably won't use them very often. I wish the set had come with the luncheon plates instead of the mugs; I had to buy them separately. Also, there are no serving plates or large bowls that match the set, as there are with some of the other patterns. That is a little disappointing. But the whole family has complimented the new dishes; if you can please this crew, it must be nice.
