This urban pattern is not available in the store, but easy to order. The pattern can be used everyday or dressed up for special occasions with colorful linens and accesories. I bought one more set to have 20 place settings and also purchased white serving bowls. We all like the black mugs in the set, comfortable to hold and really nice looking. I recommend going to the corningware/ corelle outlet and order in the store. Boxed sets were on sale, so I saved money and shopped for other great items I am using for stocking stuffers and gifts this Christmas. I took my 34 year old corelle set of dishes for 28 plus serving pieces to my church and they are used by the staff for individual and small group gatherings.

The dishes are very durable. They are perfect for everyday use and even a college dorm or apartment. I have used them for years. I highly recommend.

The stoneware mugs don't really bother me, though I only needed one set (I ordered service for 8). The only real problem I had with these was that one of the large plates had a pretty big defect in the border pattern. It was only one, though, so I didn't feel the need to make any fuss about it.

This set is a bit thin for my taste. I tend to like a heavier set. It looks great and is very durable. A plus, however is the stoneware cups. But, I wish it were made in America!!!

One plate out of 8 had small flaw in the design. Other than that I really like the looks and easy storage.

I am very pleased with my new pattern of Corelle. I have had Corelle for 10+ years now and recently decided to change out my pattern and mix up 2 other different patterns. They look great together and the dish durability and quality have always been excellent! Our family is not so easy on glass ware and I have never had Corelle to break and that says a lot!

I love the simple design of the Urban Black pattern I chose.
While the dishes are lightweight, they are durable. I love that the coffee mugs are stoneware and large. It would have been nice if I could have purchased my Corelle at the store, however this pattern could only be purchased on line. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They offered to order the pattern for me immediately. It was a pleasant surprise that the order came very quickly and the postage was paid. I even received the discounted price that was offered in the store. I am very pleased with my new dishes. I know I will have them for years to come.

I've had corelle for many years and wanted something to spice up my plain white. This pattern is great for everyday and for my new black themed dining table. The mugs are particularly good because they fit my husbands larger hands as well as my smaller ones very comfortably. Ive purchased other everyday dishes and always come back to corelle.
