I ordered the pie plates for two reasons. One is to match to a few of them that I already have. Another is that the pie plate is 9 inches and not so deep. I am glad that I could find them on your website. Thank you!

I've been baking pies for decades, and this is my pie pan of choice. You can pay more but you can't find anything that bakes a better pastry. Why use anything else? It's hard to find this basic glass pie pan in the stores now, so I order online to get just what I want. They arrived well wrapped and in perfect condition.

It is very durable. I bought three new pie plate to replace the old ones which I have used for more than 10 years. They are still good but little bit old. I use them everyday for serving food and baking.

Not only did I get a GREAT deal on these Pyrex pie plates, but they are simply the best pie plates. My grandmother has used hers forever and I had another brand of glass pie plates. She prefers hers and now I see why. Bought 4 and will be getting more as they are useful for more than pies.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my son's girlfriend. It hasn't yet been used, but it is great inexpensive, basic kitchen piece. I know she'll get years of use from it.

It seems difficult to find a simple, classic pie plate. This one is nearly perfect, though a tiny bit more depth would be nice, it is the best pie plate I've ever had. Glass allows you not just to see the overall done-ness of the pie but you can use knives on it unlike non-stick types. No fancy ruffled edges means you can do your own edge. Price was great here, could not find in stores.

I have used pyrex pie plates since I was a young woman on my own in the 1970's, and still find them to be the best for the job. I decided to replace my original old pyrex pie plates with these new ones, and as always I'm not disappointed. The fact that the famous test kitchen recommends them is a plus. I've tried other styles, but always return to this particular pie plate for my best pie creations. The shape lends itself to a nice crust design on the edge, and as always the glass lets me see the crust on the sides and bottom while it bakes. This gets 2 thumbs up from me. I recommend the pyrex 9" pie plate to everyone who loves to make a beautiful pie, whether sweet, savory or ice box, it's perfect!

I've been using these wonderful pie plates for years and have discovered that I can't find them at the local stores. I hope that you are not discontinuing these wonderful products! I've tried using metal pans and it just isnt the same! Pies just taste better baked in glass!

This 9" pie plate is the best for the money. It transmits heat evenly and bakes the bottom crust beautifully. The rim is ideal for creating a crimped edged. It is far superior to the pyrex plate that has almost no rim and 'handles'.

This is the same classic pie plate my Grandma used. Low side so you can get a pretty crimp on the crust. Very happy with them.

I have had, what I consider the traditional pyrex pie plate for years - the slightly larger one with the fluted edge. However I was getting tired of adjusting recipes to have sufficient crust and filling as apparently this size is the current "standard size" pie plate. They work well, you can see the crust underneath to check for browning, current recipe quantities fit well, so life is easier. I love making pies, but admit I still prefer the slightly deeper pie of old.

I needed new Pyrex glass pie pans in a hurry because I made an apple pie in one at Thanksgiving and forgot the pie pan at the place I spent Thanksgiving. Fortunately I was able to order more pans online at this website. For some reason this simple, round, un-handled kind is no longer available at most retailers, or they're charging an astronomical amount for it. The more current versions have handles and things that I don't need. I use these for making holiday shortbread every Christmas, and I can bake about 4 rounds at a time. The glass pan ensures even cooking plus I can tell how ready it is all around just by looking. Delivery was quick although the order processing itself seemed to take a while. The website did warn me I might not get the pans by Christmas (I ordered about 3 weeks ahead), but I took my chances and it all worked out. They arrived during the week before Christmas so my holiday baking plans were not derailed. Yay for pyrex glass pie pans available on this website!
